We are descendants of a family of farmers in Misamis Oriental on Mindanao in the Philippines, way back in 1900’s. For many years the main crop was coconut.
Our father worked in Del Monte and when he retired in late 1980 he ventured into papaya contract-growing with the company.
In mid 1990’s our parents acquired a total of seven hectares of land, planted with mostly coconut trees. When coconut prices slumped in 2017, we decided to intercrop with cacao trees with seedlings from the local agriculture office.
Since November 2020, we now have 3 main crops: coconut, papaya and cacao.
Our Location in the Philippines, is on the N coast of Mindanao, between Cagayan de Oro and Butuan:
The farm is in Balingasag (see map on right)
